WGI’s focus is
towards growth and development of our future by participating in
various community activities. Mentoring children within the
Richardson Independence School District is rewarding because the
children are interactive on what it takes to be an entrepreneur. We
support the lunch buddy program at Mark Twain Elementary whereby we
spend time just talking offline to different students that need
guidance and show them that we care.

The enhancement of
our employees is an integral part of our vision. Goal setting is
essential when planning activities. Various team-building events are
held throughout the year. "Just Balling", our championship status
bowling team was designed to compete and network with other companies.
Monthly, we invite guest speakers from the corporate sector as well as
small business owners and motivational speakers to focus on personal
and professional growth.

WGI has been blessed
to be in business since 1986. We are constantly faced with challenges
and obstacles to overcome. We continue to strive to stay focused and
grounded as we continue to grow. Recognizing our blessings while
creating a closer bond, once a month we fellowship at various
employees’ house of worship. WGI’s employees also fellowship with
their area care group or life center clusters, this includes church
members who live within the employees’ community. “I am excited about
going to work at WGI to know that they support my faith. The respect
that the management team at WGI shows to their employees and
contractors shows me that WGI not only talks about its belief system,
but it also allows its employees the freedom to embrace the community
and their church practices”, says WGI’s Deborah Johnson.

Unity
in the community is how WGI reaches to support organizations in need.
Currently we provide the Samaritan Inn, a homeless shelter for
battered women in McKinney throughout the year with donations and
supplies so that they can continue to provide for families in need but
not in greed. Other organizations and activities that WGI supports are
mentoring to former prison inmates, participating in The Race for the
Cure with the Susan B Komen Cancer Research Foundation, The Kidney
Foundation, donating food and clothing to families.

WGI is committed to involvement in the
community. Several employees are active in volunteer organizations
throughout the Metroplex. We have included some inspirational stories
about our experiences.
