THE WILKINS GROUP SENDS ITS "A TEAM" TO HOUSTON FOR NEW COMCAST CONTRACT

Richardson, TX and Houston, TX, March 7, 2008 – The Wilkins Group, Inc. (WGI) is pleased to announce our newest deployment in to the Houston, TX market. In January 2008, WGI began supporting Comcast Corporation, the nation's leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, with 24.1 million cable customers, 13.2 million high-speed Internet customers and 4.6 million voice customers. Comcast is principally involved in the development, management and operation of broadband cable networks and in the delivery of programming content. As a subcontractor to Comcast, WGI’s primary role in Houston is to provide staff augmentation for Comcast’s residential installation services.

To start this new market, WGI hired local talent and relocated several of its prime installers from our headquarters in north Dallas’ suburb of Richardson, TX. The installers from Dallas included (from left at top) Marcus Washington, Ron Harris (Manager/Trainer), Ryan Yates, Phillip Adams, Roderick Ladd (from left at bottom) Darwyn Moore, Johnathan Hill and Juan Chavez. After proving themselves in WGI’s internal, thorough technical training course, these installers were hand picked by manager/trainer Ron Harris, Ronald Moses WGI’s Vice President, Operations and Tom Wilkins, WGI CEO to launch our new Houston Market. The training curriculum consists of basic cable 101, cable technology, VOIP, customer service, sexual harassment, enhanced installation and safety guidelines. All broadband installers must complete and pass this training course or he/she will not be released in the field.

Rounding out the “A Team” is WGI’s Tabitha Davis (pictured below), who relocated from WGI’s Newport News, VA market. Recently named as WGI’s Associate of the Year 2007, Tabitha’s role in the Houston market is Office Manager.
