Company selected for FastTech 50 list Richardson, TX -
May 21, 1998…The Wilkins Group, Inc.™ (WGI™) was recently selected for
the Dallas Business Journal’s FastTech 50 list. Organizations chosen
for the list represent the fastest growing high-tech companies in the
Dallas/Fort Worth area. FastTech 50 is jointly sponsored by Arthur
Andersen L.L.P. and Seven Rosen Funds. Selections are made based on
measurements of revenue growth over recent years.
WGI was selected at number 33 based on their rapid
growth in 1997. The Dallas Business Journal also recognizes high-tech
companies for growth over the past three years. In this category, WGI
was in the top ten of the fastest-growing high tech companies due to
more than 480 percent growth since 1994.
According to the Journal, the "FastTech 50 is a civic
and business recognition project that searches for the 50
fastest-growing high-technology companies in the greater Dallas area
and honors those companies whose vision, determination and effort have
put America on the leading edge of technology."
Huntley Paton, Publisher of the Dallas Business
Journal calls those selected for the list "the area’s most nimble
technology companies," and the "fast-rising stars of our local
business community.
