To Whom it May Concern:
I am honored to recommend Faye Moses for the 2000
Trailblazer Award. An outstanding Texan, Faye is an inspiration and
example not only to those of us who know her but to our community as a
whole.
As the former general counsel to the Wilkins
Group Incorporated (WGI), I have had the fortune to interact with Faye
in a professional as well as personal capacity for more than 5 years.
She has more than impressed me in both regards. During my tenure as a
legal advisor to WGI, I was time and again impressed with Faye's
vision for WGI and her commitment to the men and women who make up the
company.
Where some turn to "how to" books to enhance
management and communication skills, these qualities come naturally to
Faye, who takes a personal, firsthand interest in every employee's
professional development and personal growth - - an investment which,
as I have witnessed, pays dividends not only for the employees but, in
the long run, for the Wilkins Group.
As a dear friend, Faye has proved a loyal,
supportive and always a joy to be around. As busy people ourselves,
my wife Donna and I have a great deal of admiration for Faye's ability
to maintain a keen focus on her role as president at WGI, while
sustaining close relationships with friends and family. Faye has that
rare ability to do it all, and to make it look easy.
"Giving back" isn't something Faye merely talks
about, she takes action in many ways. Her public service on the
Dallas Area Rapid Transit board and with the National Association of
Women Business Owners and the National Association of Female
Executives are just a handful of ways by which Faye shares with others
her knowledge, experiences and business acumen.
Donna and I would be so very pleased to see our
dear friend, Faye Moses, officially recognized for the trails she has
blazed and the lives she continues to touch.
Sincerely,

Michael L. Williams
