Equipment Installer
Description:
This position is responsible for the
successful assembly and final equipment installation, within
customer facilities, for telecommunications projects.
Required Qualifications:
Individuals must have a broad base of training and experience in the
proper techniques of installing telecommunications hardware, cabling
systems, power systems, and grounding. Specific equipment types to
be installed include Nortel and Alcatel, SONET terminals and
regenerators. Additionally, experience with Alcatel digital cross
connects and associated patch panels, connectors, AC and DC power
plants and fault alarm systems is desired. Candidates should be
knowledgeable with telecommunications industry installation
practices and all tools and equipment necessary. Good team work and
oral/written documentation skills are a must.
